Monday, August 16, 2004 Things haven't been particularly quiet over here at These Moments/London Calling Towers - there have been lots of work trips, a birthday, lunch at The Ivy, a visit to the Tate Modern to see Mr Hopper's works, drinks in Soho, trips to Harlow, various supermarkets, a haircut at the Turkish barbers on the High Street, TV viewing of beautiful gymnasts in Athens, trips to see Fahrenheit 9/11, The Bourne Supremacy and I,Robot; gardening, watching DVD's - Ghost Ship, Bourne Identity, School of Rock, Cold Mountain.

Thursday, August 05, 2004 Following three days of debauchery last weekend, including a night on the tiles, a day in the country at a barbecue and a day in central London at Soho Pride, I spent the first three days of this week sweating buckets in Reading and Watford. When will the British realise that air conditioning should come as standard in all places of work? OK, it's not Florida or Equatorial Guinea, but it's also not Tromso.
