these moments that I've had.

No Trick-Or-Treaters last night, or this, so far. I thought parents would have had them out over the weekend as well as on Halloween itself. This has led to nibbling of the goodies in the glass bowl. Admittedly, 'out of sight out of mind' may have worked better, but as the bowl sits on full view in the living room, we are finding it hard to resist.

'Halloween:H20' got an airing on TV last night, and very enjoyable it was too. Nothing Halloween-y appears to be on TV on Monday night, so we may resort to (the excellent) DVDs of 'Halloween', 'Sleepy Hollow' and 'The Adventures of Ichabod Crane'....mwaa-ha-haaaa...! ! ! ! !

Before Bonfire Night, we have Halloween. There is still time to make last minute changes to your costume plans. What could be better, or scarier, than to go for the David Gest Halloween Mask. And even better, it's only $1, about 60 English Pence to us Brits. Go on, scare the bejeezus out of the little ones who come calling. Alternatively, walk the streets yourself, no matter what age, and give an old woman a coronary or get a smack from a grandad who served in the war. NB: avoid calling at the local builder's house, or anyone else who is known to be really handy with their fists.

Firework season is upon us and the first major festival is Diwali this weekend. Edward is going nuts in the garden, chasing them away, protecting HIS garden and HIS home. Luckily Edward will not be present for THE major event of the season, as he will be holidaying with his grandparents. Good luck Ann 'n Ron.
